Dental Quest is a CGHS empanelled dental clinic in Sector 19, Dwarka, New Delhi — and one of the few in Dwarka that is also NABH accredited. CGHS beneficiaries are treated here at scheme rates, with cashless treatment for pensioners and other eligible categories. We also accept DGEHS, CAPF, CISF, ECHS and Air India panels.

Dental Quest is empanelled with six government and public-sector health schemes. If you or a family member is covered by any of these, you can be treated here at scheme rates:
Our panel desk handles the paperwork side of this every working day — verifying permissions, preparing estimate slips and assembling claim sheets — so beneficiaries are not left chasing documents between the clinic and their department.
This is the part most patients are never told, and it has a direct effect on the treatment you receive.
CGHS reimburses empanelled facilities at two levels. A NABH accredited facility is reimbursed at the full published rate. A non-NABH facility is reimbursed roughly 15% below that. NABH accreditation is the quality standard CGHS itself uses as its benchmark — it covers infection control, sterilisation protocol, clinical documentation, patient safety and patient rights.
The practical meaning for you: at a NABH accredited CGHS clinic, the facility is not absorbing a shortfall on every procedure, and it has been independently audited against a national safety standard. In Delhi, 183 dental clinics are CGHS empanelled but only 52 of them hold NABH accreditation. Dental Quest is one of them.
We are also AERB registered for dental radiography, which is the separate statutory requirement for operating dental X-ray and OPG equipment.
The CGHS dental schedule covers the great majority of routine and restorative dental work, including:
Two significant treatments are not on the CGHS schedule: dental implants and clear aligners. These are not covered, so even a CGHS beneficiary pays for them privately. This catches a lot of patients by surprise partway through treatment, which is why we say it upfront.
Where a covered alternative exists, we will tell you. A CGHS-covered crown and bridge, for instance, can replace a missing tooth without implant surgery — it is not identical treatment, but it is a legitimate option and it is covered. You should hear both before you decide.
Most delays happen because a patient arrives without the right paper. The sequence is:
If you are 75 or older, you may consult a specialist at an empanelled facility directly, without a referral.
In a medical emergency, no referral is required. Come in, or call +91 70707 06828 on your way.
This is the single most common point of confusion, and the answer depends on your category:
| Your category | How payment works |
|---|---|
| Pensioners and other eligible categories | Cashless (credit) treatment at an empanelled facility. You do not pay at the clinic for covered procedures. |
| Serving employees | You pay at the clinic and claim reimbursement from your Ministry or Department afterwards. We provide the itemised bill and documentation your claim needs. |
| Treatment at a non-empanelled clinic | No credit facility at all. Reimbursement is capped at approved CGHS rates, so you absorb any difference. |
Not sure what applies to your case? Call us before you travel — we will tell you exactly what to bring, and whether you need the referral first.

Call +91 70707 06828Yes. Dental Quest, Sector 19 Dwarka, is a CGHS empanelled dental clinic and is listed on the official CGHS empanelment records. We are also NABH accredited, which is the higher of the two CGHS reimbursement tiers.
CGHS Wellness Centre D100 in Sector 23, Dwarka serves most Dwarka residents. Delhi has 121 CGHS wellness centres in total. Your referral for dental treatment is issued from your registered wellness centre.
In most cases yes — a referral from your CGHS Wellness Centre, issued by the CMO in-charge, a General Duty Medical Officer or a Specialist. There are two exceptions: beneficiaries aged 75 and above may consult a specialist directly without a referral, and no referral is required in a medical emergency.
One month from the date of issue. Within that month the referral covers up to 3 visits to the same empanelled facility, and you may see up to 3 different specialists per visit. Carry photocopies of the referral to your follow-up appointments.
It depends on your category. Pensioners and other eligible categories receive cashless credit treatment at an empanelled facility such as Dental Quest. Serving employees pay at the clinic and then claim reimbursement from their Ministry or Department — we provide the itemised billing your claim requires.
Yes. Root canal treatment is on the CGHS dental schedule for both single rooted and multi rooted teeth. Dental Quest is CGHS empanelled and NABH accredited, so treatment is at the full published rate tier. Pensioners are treated cashless.
No. The CGHS dental schedule contains no entry for dental implants, so implants are paid privately even by CGHS beneficiaries. Where a CGHS-covered alternative such as a crown and bridge is clinically appropriate, we will explain that option alongside the implant rather than presenting only one.
Clear aligners are not on the CGHS schedule and are paid privately. Conventional orthodontics is covered — both fixed and removable orthodontic appliances appear on the CGHS dental schedule.
CGHS pays NABH accredited facilities the full published rate and reimburses non-NABH facilities approximately 15% lower, because NABH is the independent quality standard CGHS uses as its benchmark for infection control, sterilisation, clinical documentation and patient safety. Only 52 of the 183 CGHS empanelled dental clinics in Delhi hold NABH accreditation.
Bring your CGHS card, the referral letter from your wellness centre, a specialist authorization letter if your procedure requires one, photocopies of the referral for follow-up visits, and a government photo ID. Call us beforehand if you are unsure what your case needs.
Yes. Dental Quest is empanelled with CGHS, DGEHS, CAPF, CISF, ECHS and Air India. Each scheme has its own authorization workflow; our panel desk handles the permissions, estimate slips and claim documentation for all six.
There is no cashless facility at a non-empanelled clinic. You pay in full and can claim reimbursement only up to the approved CGHS rate, so any amount above that comes out of your pocket. Choosing an empanelled facility avoids that gap entirely.
